Appに乗り換えました。しかし、彼のベビーシッターから、料金の電子決済を希望するならVenmoアカウントを維持するようにと迫られ、渋々そうすることにしました。 Appに後れを取っています（下チャート参照）。この差は、必ずしもVenmoに問題があることを示しているわけではなく、Squareの抜け目のないマーケティング戦略が奏功している証であるようです。Squareはまず、急速な商品イノベーションによって金融サービスが十分に届いていない層にサービスを提供することに照準を合わせ、続いて、そうした層を引き続きターゲットとしつつ、影響力のある重要ユーザー層に合わせたサービス展開を行なってきました。とは言え、VenmoとCash
